Training, qualifications & experience

I have worked in health and social care for over 30 years, have been a qualified counsellor for 21 years, and am also a qualified supervisor and registered social worker. Outside of my private counselling work, I am employed by a charity working with people who have experienced sexual abuse. I have had extensive training in working with sexual abuse, domestic abuse and working with people who have experienced trauma. I have a personal interest in, and experience of, working with autistic clients.
